Rag Doll Eatery | Spotlight Series

Rag Doll Eatery Pandora

She started as a bus girl in the industry 25 years ago. Since then, she has filled every role from bartending to management. Now pushing 50 years old, Pandora decided to live her dream and create something for herself. Taking all her experience she brought her vision to life and is now the owner and operator of Rag Doll Eatery in the hub of Yonge and Eglinton.

With Rock and Roll vibes- paying homage to culinary legends like Anthony Bourdain and rock legends like Aerosmith, Rag Doll is a neighbourhood joint to come as you are and enjoy great tunes, good company and food that will leave you full!

As a naturally social person and a vegan, Pandora had a hard time finding places to gather with friends, carnivores and herbivores alike, to have a meal they could all enjoy. Pandora didn’t understand why a restaurant had to be fully vegan, or standard fare with few vegetarian options. Why couldn’t there be a restaurant that just had plenty of great options for everyone? Hence the menu for Rag Doll. It’s their portobello burger, southern style country fried chicken, Fleetwood Mac and Cheese, Tree Top Salad and more. Its comfort food for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike to have a great meal and feel full and content.

Pandora had the vision, but she didn’t have the money. When opening a restaurant you can’t be cheap on equipment or tableware. Not only for aesthetic and practical purposes but also safety. With the help of our friendly and diligent team, Pandora was able to finance everything she needed to get Rag Doll off the ground and get the neighbourhood grooving.
