An Announcement from Our President

The recent merging of SilverChef Canada and EconoLease into one brand represents a pivotal moment in our growth, unifying our commitment to delivering exceptional equipment financing to Canada’s hospitality industry under a single, trusted brand. This milestone underscores our success in supporting you and your customers, and I’m eager to share a key update as we advance. After nearly three incredible years leading EconoLease (and SilverChef) in Canada, I will be returning to Australia in mid-September to take on the role of Chief Risk Officer for SilverChef Group. I am excited to announce that effective September 1^st, Tyrone Ho will assume the role of President, EconoLease. 

Tyrone is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of hospitality experience. From launching a successful café, to his time at SilverChef from 2018 to 2020, and as Head of Sales and Industry Growth at Tyro, he is focused on building strong partnerships and is well-equipped with deep insights into our industry. I will be working closely with Tyrone to ensure a seamless transition for you and our customers and he hopes to meet as many of you as soon as possible. And of course, our EconoLease team will be here to support you every step of the way as you offer flexible financing options to your customers.

I would like to thank you for the incredible support you’ve given our EconoLease team—particularly over the past few years as we’ve grown significantly, both as a business and with our Rent-Try-Buy product. It has been an honour leading EconoLease and working with you all, and I am confident Tyrone will bring new energy and expertise to sustain and build on the momentum we have built together.
