After working at a supermarket chain for years Tony Cornacchia knew what customers wanted when they were grocery shopping. On a trip to San Francisco with his wife and future business partner, Claudia, he stumbled upon many different Italian markets. These markets offered authentic meals and hand-picked high-quality products that aren’t normally found at a local chain store. They knew then and there this was a concept they wanted to bring to Toronto. Tony & Claudia’s On Fallingbrook was born.
On any day there is at a minimum of 30 dishes available for dining in or take out. Their market offers sandwiches both hot and cold, pasta, pizza and more that are perfect for serving a group of people or yourself.
When a customer comes in with a question, Tony has an answer and the background knowledge on every single item sold and prepared in the store. He knows the farms where the tomatoes that go into their homemade sauces come from. He knows the local roasters for the coffee he serves.
Selling your plan to financial institutions isn’t easy.
